The Power of Prayer
The Family of Faith at House of Prayer believes prayer works! Prayer is the relationship key that our Lord gave to us so that we can have two-way communication with our God.
House of Prayer has an "I (we) need to pray!" attitude. We believe our lives and our congregation are transformed through prayer.
Why
Pray: (if God already knows what we need anyway?) Jesus says, "Ask,
and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door
will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who
searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened."
(Matthew 7:7-8)
"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice...Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:4-6)
